Wines that are listed as available ‘on request’ are not physically in stock and need to be ordered in from our suppliers. As such, a minimum order of 6 bottles applies. Please note that ‘on request’ products may take up to 10 days to be delivered.
Although the vast majority of our wines can be ordered online, a small number of limited products must be ordered by phone or email. To order wines that are in stock, but not for sale on our website, email Info@winecellar.co.za or call us on 021 448 4105.
Browse our selection of wines from anywhere on the site by clicking on the filtering options on the right-hand side. If you’re looking for something specific, use the Quick Search (above the main menu) or the Advanced Search.
To add an item to your shopping cart, please click on the button or if the product is a featured wine. Once an item has been added, it will appear in a green shopping cart on the right-hand side. To view your shopping cart in more detail, or to edit quantities, click ‘view cart’ (or 'shopping cart' at the top of the page).
From the shopping cart page, you can adjust quantities, remove items and confirm your selection. Once you are ready to fill in your details and pay, press
If you have shopped online at Winecellar.co.za before, please log in. If you have not bought wines directly from our website before, please click ‘register’. You will then be prompted to fill in your details and billing information.
The next step is to confirm your delivery address. Returning customers do not need to enter a delivery address each time; they can choose from one of their saved addresses or they can add a new delivery address using the form provided.
Wine Cellar delivers nationwide and offers free delivery on orders over R1,500 (main centres only). In most cases, wines will be delivered within 2-3 working days, but you can view our exact delivery charges and estimated time frames here. As noted above, products listed as 'on request' take up to 10 days to be delivered.
If you are in Cape Town, you will have the additional option of collecting your order from our offices in Observatory.
If you are in Johannesburg, you may choose from standard delivery (2-3 working days) or next-day delivery by Overnight Road Service (ONR). Wines sent by ONR will be delivered between 12:00pm and 17:00pm the following working day, but orders must be placed before 14:00pm.
Orders will never be dispatched until payment has been received.
Wine Cellar’s online card payments are processed by Pay U – a trusted, secure and highly-regarded online payment provider. We accept Visa, Master Card, Diners Club and Amex. We also accept payment by bank transfer, although this is a slower option as orders will not be disptached until payment has been received. Please note that orders will be cancelled if payment is not received within 5 days. Our bank details will be provided once your order has been placed; they will also be sent to you by email.
Review your order and click ‘proceed to payment’. If you have opted to pay by card, you will be redirected to a secure payment page hosted by Pay U. Once your payment has been completed, you will be redirected to our order confirmation page.
This page displays a summary of your order and shows your order reference number. These details will also be sent to your registered email address.
If you have opted to pay by EFT, please send proof of payment to firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number in the subject line. Your order will not be dispatched until we have received payment and we will have no choice but to cancel the order if your payment is not received within 5 days.
All past order details can be viewed and downloaded at any time by logging in and visiting your account dashboard.
