'The wine is nice and fresh with hints of Granny Smith apple some pear and white peach. The lees contact adds lovely texture and weight to the palate. It has good depth and Pinot Gris is very versatile with food. Paired well with seafood, pasta or vegetarian dishes. Be adventurous and add some spice.' – Winemaker

| Producer information | Usana, founded in 2003 by brothers JP and Pierre Winshaw, is located in Klein Welmoed in Stellenbosch. Usana meaning 'a baby' or 'a new beginning' in Xhosa, represents the start of a new venture for the family. They produce a range of wines as well as pasture-reared beef, lamb and eggs on the Winshaw Family Farm. |
