| Producer information | Winemaker Jessica Saurwein followed in her family's winemaking footsteps by creating her own wine brand, Saurwein. Her family's winemaking history dates back to the 17th century, where her ancestors made 'sour' wine for the Emperor of Austria. Jessica focuses on Pinot Noir and Riesling, producing 3 different wines under her label. One wine produced from the Elandskloof Valley, one from the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge region, and one from the Elgin Valley. |
