‘Mainly Mourvèdre (85%), with Cinsault and Grenache, the 2020 Bandol la Tourtine was still in foudre at the time of my visit last year. | Producer information | Located in the heart of the Bandol terroir, Domaine Tempier was established during the reign of Louis XV (1715-74). The house was built in 1834 and the estate gained recognition in 1885 after winning its first gold medal. Domaine Tempier has been run by the Peyraud family since 1936 and their 38-hectares of land is spread over several parcels planted on steep, sun-drenched slopes that face the sea. |
