Tasting notes
Klein Constantia Vin de Constance 2010
'Tasting this wine in December 2024 was an unforgettable experience. It stood out as one of the most complex South African wines we have ever tasted. Its evolution continues with every visit, offering new layers of nuanced aromas and flavours. The wine offers notes of rose geranium, toffee, caramel, and walnut shell on the nose, with apple strudel, rhubarb, kai apple, and curry spice on the palate, evolving to savoury honey and a hint of saltiness. The layers of floral and herbal notes include lavender, buchu, chamomile and roasted sesame seed. The finish is long and enduring.' – James Pietersen, December 2024
