‘Paraje de la Virgen was planted in Lanciego in 1920 and is a classic field blend of mostly Tempranillo with around 5% each of Garnacha, Graciano, Malvasía and Viura. Very lightly wooded, as Bryan MacRobert's wines generally are, this has plenty of grip, savoury tannins, herbal undertones and plum skin and damson fruit. 2024-30’ – Tim Atkin MW, Rioja Special Report 2023, 92/100
