‘Bright pale gold colour. The bold, upfront nose is packed with notes of white nectarine, pineapple, yellow apple, star fruit, lime zest, nutmeg, and lilies. The palate is complex and layered with an array of spices, vanilla, apples, yellow plums, apricot, and lemon meringue. The wine has a creamy texture and a long zesty finish, which indicates ageing potential or up to 10 years from vintage under good storage conditions.’ – Winemaker

| Producer information | The Laibach farm, as we know it today, dates back to 1818 when it was originally called 'Good Success'. It was later divided into 3 farms, one of which was purchased by Friedrich Laibach in 1994 and became Laibach farm. Laibach is located in Simonsberg, and has been converted to organic farming since the start of the century. The winemaking approach is one of minimal intervention so to allow the Simonsberg-Stellenbosch site to produce the flavours in the vineyards. |
