‘The 2022 Clos du Bourg Sec bottling from Domaine Huët is also a superb young wine. The wine’s aromatic constellation is classy and already shows enormous potential, wafting from the glass in a mix of ripe quince, apple, a whisper of the yellow plum to come, complex chalky minerality, citrus peel, white lilies, citrus blossoms and a topnote of bee pollen. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and impressively deep at the core, with a fine girdle of acidity, excellent mineral drive and cut, lovely focus and balance and a long, complex and very, very promising finish. Like the le Mont Sec in 2022, the Clos du Bourg Sec really deserves to just be tucked away until it comes out of its period of hibernation and starts to hit on all cylinders. 2033-2085’ – John Gilman, View From The Cellar, 95/100

Round and silky, this shows a lot of delicious fruit and a lot of complexity, with sea salt–dusted apple and honeycomb flavors layered with green herbs and cardamom, which bring an appealing savory edge.
