‘Aromas of pear, freshly baked bread, lemon oil and bread dough introduce Lamy's 2019 Saint-Aubin La Princée, a medium to full-bodied, layered and incisive wine built around a racy spine of acidity and chalky extract. Concluding with a saline finish, this has turned out beautifully. 2023-2045’ – William Kelley, Wine Advocate, 90/100

‘The 2019 Saint-Aubin La Princée has a focused but quite neutral bouquet, fresh and well-defined though not powerful. The palate is sappy on the entry with lime and sour lemon and fine depth. Quite grippy on the finish, and a bit rough around the edges, but there’s lovely salinity here. Closure: Diam 2022-2030’ – Neal Martin, Vinous, 89/100

‘A most interesting nose is comprised by notes of iodine and exotic fruit scents that include both white and yellow peach. The racy, intense and detailed middle weight flavors are also supported by citrus-tinged acidity on the clean and dry finale. 2025+’ – Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, 87-90/100

Producer information Hubert Lamy created Domaine Hubert Lamy in 1973. Located in the village of Saint-Aubin, the vineyards are spread around the villages of Chassage-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin. The domaine is now run by Hubert’s son, Olivier Lamy who brought new ideas and new methods of working in the vines and in the cellar. Olivier is known for his hard-working wine making and his passion and knowledge for wine, all of which have aided him in producing sought-after wines. The 18.5 hectares of vines are planted to 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, and the small quantities of wines produced are in high-demand world-wide.
