‘A glowing pale lemon yellow. Drouhin’s 2021 Puligny-Montrachet displays really rather a classy bouquet. Plenty of energy on the palate, the acidity is well integrated and the persistence is quite impressive. In fact, really good. 2024-2030.’ – Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, 92/100

‘Smooth and seductive. This is probably a relatively big cuvée but it has the Drouhin trademark of subtlety without leanness. Hint of that chèvre flavour I’ve found in some 2021s! Utterly ‘pleasant’ though quite a price! 2024-2033’ – Jancis Robinson, JancisRobinson.com, 16.5/20

‘The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Village has a finely-tuned nose, Granny Smiths intermixed with a very light gooseberry aroma. The palate is crisp on the entry with a fine bead of acidity. Not overly complex, yet I appreciate its length and salinity. Enjoy over the next 6-8 years. 2024-2034’ – Neal Martin, Vinous, 88-90/100

‘A more floral and more elegant nose reveals its aromas of essence of just sliced citrus, mineral reduction and crushed fennel nuance. There is a lovely sense of verve to the utterly delicious flavors that are especially dens but do possess a beguiling refinement as the innate class of Puligny if very much present on the very dry, focused and youthfully austere finale. This is lovely and worth considering. 2027+’ – Allen Meadows, Burghound, 89/100

‘A wine of great finesse, distinguished and elegant. The colour is pure and bright, with light glints of white gold. The aromas evoke trees in bloom and white flesh fruit, like white peaches. With age, the aromas evolve towards almond and lightly grilled dried fruit. On the palate, there is a sensation of fresh silkiness. Long and persistent in the aftertaste, ending on an exceptional wealth of flavours, both floral and fruity.’ – Winemaker

Today, 4th generation Véronique Drouhin continues the family's prestigious Burgundy legacy. With 73 hectares of biodynamically-farmed vines, Joseph Drouhin is one of Burgundy's largest estates.
