‘The cheapest of a trio of very smart Chardonnays from Graham Weerts, Silene uses grapes from four different sites in Stellenbosch. | Producer information | Capensis, which is Latin for ‘from the Cape’, was founded in 2013 and is owned by the Jackson Family. Winemaker Graham Weerts creates Chardonnay from sites located in Stellenbosch, Overberg, and Robertson. The Capensis estate vineyard, Fijnbosch, is located on the Groot Drakenstein mountains in the Banghoek Valley and makes up about half of their blend. |
