'The nose opens up with aromas of tonka bean, musk and vanilla which evolve over time towards more earthy and smoky notes. The palate is elegant with a soft, smooth attack. The bouquet reveals roasted notes intertwined with caramelised apples, dried herbs and gentian root. The progressive evaporation of alcohol over the years (known as the ‘angels’ share’) has brought the natural alcohol by volume down to 42 degrees.' – Winemaker
