‘Just a tad short of the brilliance of the 2021 release, but this is still an impressive follow-up from Bobby Wallace. | Producer information | Brothers Mark and Bobby Wallace have spent the last four years creating their own wine project together. What originally started as making some braai wines for themselves and friends has turned into a new label, whereby they seek out unique vineyard sites. Their first wine under their Off the Record label is an Elgin Chenin Blanc – a scarce wine due to there being only three Chenin Blanc vineyards in Elgin. Since the 2022 vintage Bobby is flying solo and has included a high-altitude Syrah from the Ceres plateau. |
