| Producer information | Mellish Family Vineyards wines are made on the boutique Welbeloond wine farm located in Durbanville. The Mellish family took over the farm in 1918 where they started out producing wheat and dairy. They planted their first block of vineyards in 2000 and today, have 35-hectares under vine. The farm has a long history with the homestead on the farm dating back to 1785 when it was originally used as an outpost by Jan van Riebeeck. |
