This rare release is a blend of 55% Pinot Noir (10% still) and 45% Chardonnay. After 12 years in the cellar, the rosé started to ‘reveal the harmony we were looking for a year and a half ago’, explains Vincent Chaperon, DP’s Chef de Cave. ‘Dramatic and perfumed’ says the Wine Advocate, while Vinous calls it ‘Magnificent… there is a classic feeling of austerity in the 2008 that is mesmerizing.’   This is approachable now but will age well for the next 25 years.
