Tom and the Peloton, Ventoux Rouge 2017

The limited Tom and the Peloton Ventoux Rouge 2017 is a wine for Rhône lovers and cycling fanatics alike. Produced by Domaine des Anges, the charming blend of Syrah and Grenache pays homage to Tom Simpson – one of Britain’s greatest cyclists who sadly died during his ascent of Mont Ventoux during the 1967 Tour de France. A portion of the proceeds of each bottle sold is donated to the Simpson family to help maintain the memorial on the route of the Tour de France. This Ventoux Rouge offers wonderful red fruit density mingled together with pepper spice and dried herbs to deliver a juicy yet structured wine.
