The Leeu Passant Dry Red has become a benchmark red blend for SA. And rightly so – it’s powerful, poised, and wonderfully aromatic. The 2020 is 45% Cabernet Franc, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cinsault, showing notes of bouquet garni, earl grey and bergamot tea spice along with grapefruit and plenty of luxurious fruit. The graphite minerality is refreshing and runs through the wine’s core, and the chalky tannins are almost never ending. Ideal for collectors and aficionados alike.

Tenuta delle Terre Nere has been captivating the world with their unique volcanic wines. Don’t miss the delicious Etna Rosso 2020, from Nerello Mascalese and 5% Nerello Cappuccio. It’s packed with tightly coiled strawberry and cherry fruit, laced with wild herbs and powdery tannins. Try the Etna Bianco 2021 (mostly Carricante), which boasts dense white fruit restrained by a mineral drive and warm spice. This pair is their ‘answer to red and white Burgundy’.
