‘The 2020 La Bastienne retains a slightly exotic bouquet with hints of Medjool dates infusing the black fruit. It is nicely delineated, with the oak neatly enmeshed. The palate is medium-bodied with sweet, pliant tannins, fine acidity, quite smooth with a touch of sour cherry and cedar on the finish.
