| Producer information | Yves Cuilleron, the brilliant Rhône winemaker, took over the family estate in 1987. The estate, located in Verlieu, was founded in 1920 by Claude Cuilleron, making Yves’ the third generation winemaker. While he had not intended following his family in making wine, he found his way back to the vines when his uncle retired with no successor to take his place. Since he took over, Yves has been involved in every aspect of the winemaking, undertaking new construction and redesigning his facilities. As he says, ‘I focus on everything. That’s the price you pay for quality.’ |
