Saurwein, Chi Riesling 2020 – R 200
'The new 2020 Chi Riesling from Jessica Saurwein is just a fabulous expression of this Germanic variety. I don’t know whether it’s Jessica’s own Germanic roots that have helped her find a closer affinity with this grape or perhaps just her deft female winemaking touch? Either way, this wine is a real cracker, bursting with energy and electricity and the crystalline purity of artic ice. The nose is delicately fruity with complex notes of citrus blossom, green apple, dry bitter lemon, white peach, grey slate and delicate dried herbs with just the faintest hints of lemon sherbet and rock candy. The palate is chiselled and precise with a tart lime peel zest, a saline line of acidity but also a juicy, mouth-filling breadth that is elegantly dry but also incredibly stimulating. This 2020 shows an extra level of fruit intensity and concentration on the previous 2019 and 2018 expressions and a focused spine of acidity that should help this delicious wine age effortlessly for 8 to 10+ years without a question. So it’s onwards and upwards for Jessica Saurwein and her exceptional range of wines.' – Greg Sherwood MW, 93+/100
Pairs well with light chicken curries and mildly spicy, Asian-style bites.

Genevieve, Rosé Cap Classique NV – R 235
'Rose gold colour with gentle berry accents on the nose. White strawberry , pomegranate and sherbet popsicle on the palate with fresh acidity supporting the delicate yet vibrant mousse of this Cap Classique.' – Melissa Genevieve Nelsen, Winemaker
Pairs well with sushi, grilled white meat, beetroot risotto, baked salmon.

The Vineyard Party, I'm Your Huckleberry 2018 – R 200
'12% alcohol. Whole-bunch pressed juice fermented in older barrels (70%) with a portion skin contact fermented in open top tanks (30%) for about 15 days. No additions apart from SO2. Full yellow in colour. This has brightness and freshness, and also a bit of structure. There is a lovely chalky, green limey character here, with crystalline citrus fruit and a hint of green apple. Lovely freshness and presence on the palate with good acidity and a fine, spicy, nicely green twist on the finish. It’s fresh but textural with lots of detail and interest. This is a lovely expression of Semillon.' – Jamie Goode, Wineanorak.com, 93/100
Pairs well with roast chicken, vitello tonnato, roast pork, grilled kabeljou and cauliflower dishes.

Lelie Van Saron, Syrah 2018 – R 250
'The 2018 Syrah Lelie van Saron, which includes 25% whole bunch, offers aromas of red berry fruit with earthy notes, brown spices and flecks of dark chocolate and mint. The palate is medium-bodied with a fleshy opening and a fine bead of acidity, maybe just missing a little depth and grip on the finish, but full of charm and certainly approachable. Excellent. Drink 2022-2030.' – Neal Martin, Vinous, 91/100 (Apr 2021)
Pairs well with grilled lamb and a medley of Mediterranean mezze.

Trizanne Signature Wines, TSW Cinsault 2020 – R 125
'A youthful punch of red fruits on the nose with a delightfully perfumed touch. That continues on the harmonious and well-weighted palate. A youthful, delicious wine with a crisp acidity and a lingering aftertaste.' – Trizanne Barnard, Winemaker
Pairs well with charcuterie and light Persian or Moroccan-style dishes.

Momento, Grenache Noir 2019 – R 310
'Subtle aromatics of red berries, floral perfume, dried herbs, and spice precede a palate that is delicate and poised – pure fruit, bright acidity, and powdery tannins. Immensely pleasurable to drink.' – Christian Eedes, Winemag.co.za, 92/100
Pairs well with tuna or grilled salmon, wild mushroom risotto and chicken in cream-based sauces.
