| Producer information | Vrede en Lust dates back to 1688 when the farm was run by Flemish merchant, Jacques de Savoye. The estate has changed hands various times throughout the years, but a new era began in 1996 when the Buys family became the new owners of Vrede en Lust. They set about to renew the land and pay tribute to its vast winemaking history. Today Vrede en Lust has a modern 750-ton wine cellar and 100 hectares of vineyards. |
