55% Cabernet Sauvignon , 35% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot

Tasting notes:
'“Grand Vin de Bordeaux”, jokes André van Rensburg about the acronym of this wine. Combining mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, all aged in 100% new wood, it wouldn’t look out of place in the Médoc, with leafy, graphite-like aromas and fine tannins. Drink 2018-25.' – Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2018, 94/100

'Cab leads merlot with splashes cab franc & petit verdot in 2013, showing its dominant role with earthy blackcurrants, iodine & liquorice. Big, serious & forceful but not intimidating, showing integration from 4 years in bottle.' – Platter's Guide, 4.5* (93/100)

'Quite a complex nose. Round and juicy. Quite transparent and pretty. Dry finish with some sweetness. Flattering.' – Jancis Robinson, JancisRobinson.com, 16.5/20

Alc: 14.5% | RS: 2.94 g/L | TA: 5.6 g/L | PH: 3.61
