Tours, Cotes du Rhone Rouge 750ml 2014France, Rhône
65% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 15% Cinsault. Deep, rich berries with the perfect balance of spice. Although very full and rich, it has a fine silkiness to the palate. Next to the characteristic heartiness of classic Rhône, this wine offers a more subtle, yet charming experience.
The last vintage tasted was the 2010 and it's notes are as followss:
'A beautiful effort, the 2010 Cotes du Rhone is loaded with sweet framboise, kirsch, white pepper, lavender and incense-like aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and elegant, it opens up beautifully in the glass, has fine tannin and good acidity. Great now with a short decant, it will have over a decade of longevity.' – Wine Advocate, 91/100
