Winemaker's notes:
Bush Vines planted in 1981 and organically farmed. 2021 Vintage was a good one or us as we had another relatively wet winter which led to healthy grapes of a good yield and balance. It was the highest yield we have achieved form this block in the 6 years we have been making the wine and the low pH and good acidity combined with higher alcohol are testament to the work being done in the vineyard.

| Producer information | Testalonga was established in 2008 by owners Craig and Carla Hawkins. The winemakers follow organic farming principles, which are still uncommon in Cape winemaking. The name Testalonga comes from a Sicilian outlaw and their wines are separated into two ranges, El Bandito and Baby Bandito. The wines have quirky names and labels and only small quantities are available for the local market. |
