Bordeaux and 2021. A year for terroir to shine. This is a vintage for those who cherish the purity of Bordeaux’s wines as the lower temperatures during ripening resulted in wines that hark back to those of the ‘80s and ‘90s. On average alcohols are 1% lower, with wines that have a lighter frame than warm, power-driven vintages like 2020 or 2015. Yet, the wines are unmistakeably Bordeaux with its tannin quality and hallmark freshness.
