'A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, this Champagne is impressively rich. Still young, its taut texture and minerality are imbued with elegance as well as freshness. This is a style of wine that can age for many years so, although it could be drunk now, it will improve at least until 2025.' – Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, 94/100

'The newly released 2014 Brut Millésimé from Taittinger is showing very well, offering up aromas of white peach, green apple, nougat and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, bright and incisive, with a charming core of fruit and a delicate mousse, this is a pretty, expressive vintage for Taittinger. Sufficiently open and fruit-driven to be enjoyed, toasty complexity with come with a few years on cork. Drink 2021 - 2035.' – William Kelley, Wine Advocate, 92/100

'A vivacious Champagne, mouthwatering with tangy, citrus peel acidity and showing flavors of crunchy white peach, plum, toast and candied ginger riding the lively bead. Drink now through 2027.' – Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator, 92/100

Producer information Taittinger dates back to 1734 when the first owner worked with Benedictine monks to learn how to produce sparkling wine. It was only later, in 1932, that Pierre Taittinger acquired the estate and relaunched it under his family name. Taittinger is one of Champagne's largest producers and is part of the Union des Maisons de Champagne, a syndicate of Champagne houses that includes the likes of Bollinger, Laurent Perrier, Moët & Chandon, and Louis Roederer. Taittinger owns four kilometers of chalk caves (originally dug out by the Romans) and is only one of five Champagne houses who uses them for cellaring.
