| Producer information | The small, family-owned domaine is situated in the Vaucluse region between Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the small town of Orange in the Southern Rhône, about 20km north of Avignon. Dubbed a new star in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation by the Wine Advocate, this is a producer to watch.
Roger Perrin took over the running of the property from his father-in-law in 1969 and established his eponymous domaine in 1980. The baton was then passed to his son Luc, and today the domaine is run by Roger’s daughter and grandson, Véronique and Xavier. They work the vineyards in a sustainable and organic manner, looking after 40 ha across 70 different plots around their home. The average vine age is 60 years old, with some as old as 100 years. |
