‘Pale and restrained, but certainly not lacking in concentration or complexity, this is a Sauvignon Blanc for people who don't really like the grape. Sourced from five parcels before fermentation in older wood, it has meadow and hedgerow aromas, lots of stony grip, mouth-watering acidity and some passion fruit sweetness. 2022-25’ – Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2022, 93/100
‘The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Biodynamic is mostly whole bunch pressed, naturally settled and racked into barrel (300-litre) staying on the gross lees for eight months before blending, after which SO2 is added. This has a knockout nose, very precise with green apple, freshly sliced pear, lemon verbena and a slight sea spray scent. The palate is well balanced with a bright opening, fresh and saline with a taut and quite linear finish. This comes highly recommended. 2022-2030’ – Neal Martin, Vinous, 91/100

| Producer information | Reyneke is one of 5 Stellenbosch properties to get First Growth status in Tim Atkin's 2017 SA Report. Reyneke farm began in 1863 when it was then named 'Uitzicht', meaning 'view'. It is located overlooking Stellenbosch and False Bay with north, south and east facing slopes. Reyneke is certified organic and biodynamic and follows sustainable practices in everything they do.
