‘A discreet but not invisible touch of wood frames notes of pear, acacia blossom and white peach where a hint of matchstick character lurks in the background. There is both good volume and punch to the succulent and utterly delicious medium weight flavors that possess fine concentration while delivering really lovely depth and length on the balanced and classy finish. Domaine Marc Morey et Fils was founded by Fernand Morey in 1919, after returning from World War I. He grew the property from 2-hectares, and made a name for the wines. In 1944, his son, Marc, joined the business and since then, each generation has added to the Domain. It is currently run by Marc’s daughter, Marie-Josèphe, and son-in-law, Bernard, together with their daughter Sabine, who joined in 2003.
