Information we collect when you register on and purchase products

We share your name and address with the courier company for the purposes of products delivering your products to you. We use third-party payment providers, namely Peach Payment, PayFast, PayU and SnapScan, to process your payments.

Information we collect when you become a supplier

We collect names, contact details, financial and tax information from suppliers and professional service providers so we can place orders and make payment in respect of any goods or services we may receive. We do this on the basis of the intention of contracting with you or for the performance of a contract we have with you.

In respect of the wine estates/producers of wines we sell on, we may use information relating to your products and in some instances your staff to market and your products on our social media sites and We do this as we have a legitimate interest in marketing your products and for making sales, which is in your benefit as well.

Processing and transferring personal information

Personal information held by us is processed by appropriate members of staff for the purposes for which the information was provided. Some of our systems on are provided by third parties, including:

  • Peach Payments, PayFast, PayU and SnapScan (RSA) which provide the payment platforms and process payments on our behalf and accordingly have access to your name, contact details and financial information;
  • MailChimp (USA) is used for the purposes of sending out newsletters and accordingly has access to your name and email address;
  • AWS (USA) which hosts and does not have access to your personal information.

All our third party service providers are required to take appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. We do not allow our third party service providers to use your personal information for their own purposes. We only permit them to process your personal information for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
