Tasting notes:
‘Here too there is just enough wood influence to remark upon surrounding the slightly riper nose of that is compositionally similar to that of the straight Puligny villages. As is usually the case, there is more size, weight and mid-palate density to the delicious if less precise and vibrant flavors that deliver equally good depth and persistence. This too is really quite good and worth checking out. 2024+.’ – Allen Meadows, Burghound, 89-91/100

About Maison Olivier Leflaive:
One of Burgundy’s most impressive names, Olivier Leflaive is recognised as much for the consistent quality and style of its wines as for the sheer breadth of its range. ‘Today, he is one of Burgundy’s top white wine producers and the maison wines match the domaine wines for their sheer quality, class and longevity!’ – Roland

The Leflaive family have been Burgundy producers for many decades but, in 1984, Olivier Leflaive set up his merchant house producing wines under his own label from his own vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet. To establish his estate, he purchased 12 hectares of land in prestigious appellations including village Meursault to the Grands Crus of Montrachet and Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet. Today, Olivier Leflaive controls all the winemaking and the ageing of the wines. Each vintage benefits from an individual approach and guarantees the authenticity of each appellation.
