‘This is a white sparkling wine made from the red grape variety known as Baga. The colour displays a very subtle red tinge; the mousse is fine and persistent. Its delicate yet deeply expressive nose offers notes of red fruit such as cherries and redcurrant, floral aromas, hints of fresh herbs as well as a touch of brioche and hazelnut, which lend the wine a more serious character. On the palate, the wine impresses with its incredible balance: structure meets elegance, lightness, subtlety and liveliness. It finishes long, with beautiful, lingering acidity.’ – Winemaker

| Producer information | The Niepoort family has been creating Port Wines since 1842. Dirk Niepoort, fifth generation, is the head of the business after his father, Rolf’s retirement in 2005.
