‘The color is golden yellow with bronze satin highlights. Aromas of pastries with fragrances of fresh hazelnuts and candied fruits. Then, tobacco, menthol anise and eucalyptus are revealed. A complex expression that takes you on a journey into the world of spices with scents that go all the way to leather. A rich aromatic palette and a broad spectrum where you don't expect Chardonnay. The attack on the palate is unambiguous in the Millésime spirit. An energizing bitterness is quickly expressed in the register of candied fruits (lemon and apricot). The maturity of the wine is not in doubt with the honey and herbal flowers. The whole is harmonious carried by a delicately biscuity frame and endowed with a beautiful freshness.’ – Winemaker
