Clemens Busch Riesling Vom Roten Schiefer 2022

From Germany’s foremost biodynamic pioneer comes this ‘beautifully spicy and very appetizing’ (Vinous) Riesling. The red slate soils in Pünderich are the rarest of the three types (red, blue and grey) and showed particularly well in 2022. From the famous Rothenpfad and Nonnengarten vineyards, the wine is finely spiced with intensely pure flavours of peach and grapefruit, supported by a crystalline structure, vibrant acidity and a touch of saltiness at the end.
