Blink and you’ll miss it! Henri Boillot is one of the highlights from the 2021 vintage out of Burgundy. The superstar domaine is still on the rise with Jasper Morris writing that they’re ‘a rare domaine which succeeds equally with both red and white wines.’ Due to the classical nature of the 2021 vintage, no new oak was used on either the reds or whites, allowing the vineyard sites to express themselves fully. This awesomely serious Rosé was created by Elizma Visser, Tim Atkin’s Young Winemaker of the Year in 2021. Grenache is being used more frequently for Rosé in South Africa and this is a prime example.
