With its excellent track record and multiple awards, it has become the wine that showcases Trizanne's mastery of Elim's unique, saline and windswept character. The 2019 Reserve Syrah embodies the essence of Elim Syrah and is a benchmark for the region. Pepper and savoury spices lead on to a saline core with a fresh, vibrant and, yes, salty palate!

Trizanne's 2020 Sondagskloof White is 100% Sauvignon Blanc and is as profound and exceptional a rendition as we have ever encountered. The fruit concentration is impressive, with white and yellow peach poised on the palate, balanced by true acidity and a focused, structured backbone. It's a special wine.

'W.O. Elim. Grapes entirely destemmed, maturation lasting 10 months in oak, 20% new. A hint of reduction before red berries, a hint of floral perfume, fynbos and white pepper. Trizanne Signature Wines, Sondagskloof White 2020

'From Sauvignon Blanc, 50% undergoing skin contact for two and a half weeks. Matured for 10 months in oak, 50% new. Intense aromatics of black currant, white peach and perhaps some honeydew melon as well as a little leesy complexity. The palate has massive concentration – lovely weight and texture but equally driving acidity. Layers of flavour and extremely long on the finish.' – Christian Eedes, Winemag (96/100)
