‘From Stanford Pinotage. 15% whole-bunch fermented before maturation lasting eight months in older 300-litre barrels. Some smoky reduction before black cherry and crushed herbs on the nose. This wine has incredible intensity and will shows its true potential in 2027 with some bottle age. This would be best enjoyed with a rare Bavette steak, twice cooked fries and a green pepper corn sauce.’ – Winemaker

| Producer information | This family owned, small-batch winemaking venture was started by Alexandra McFarlane. She previously worked at Druk My Niet in Paarl and has now released her maiden wine, Monday’s Child Chenin Blanc 2019, under the McFarlane Wines label.
