Laventura, Viura 2018 – R 300
'This wine has a lemon colour with primary fruit aromas such as apple, pear, lemon, lime, peach and apricot. Secondary aromas of brioche and nuts are present due to the lees contact and barrel ageing for one year. The palate is textured and layered. Good acidity, body and length.' – Bryan MacRobert, Winemaker
Laventura, Malvasia 2018 – R 300
'This wine has a golden colour with primary floral aromas of honeysuckle and fruit aromas of gooseberry, lemon rind, peach, apricot and quince. Secondary aromas such as butter, nuts, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg are present due to the lees contact and oxidative ageing for one year. Slight presence of tertiary aromas such as honey and hay. The palate is textured and layered with a slight waxiness. The tannin is exclusively from the grapes. Good acidity, body and palate length.' – Bryan MacRobert, Winemaker
Laventura, Tempranillo 2017 – R 300
'The red 2017 Laventura Tempranillo was produced with grapes from two vineyards, one in Labastida and the other one in Laguardia. This is the one red I tasted that seemed to take the 2017 heat better, and the wine is not far from the 2016. Yes, it's a little riper, and the fruit is a tad darker, but the wine keeps its poise and composition. It has balance and harmony, and there is only a touch of riper fruit on the finish. It finishes dry. 3,300 bottles were filled after 12 months in 500-liter oak barrels.' – Luis Gutiérrez, Wine advocate, 92/100
Laventura, Garnacha 2018 – R 300
'This wine has a pale ruby colour with primary fruit aromas of red fruit such as cranberry, raspberry, strawberry and red cherry. Secondary aromas such as brioche, vanilla and cinnamon due to the lees contact and ageing for one year in barrel. The palate is light and textured with a soft tannin. Good acidity, body and length.' – Bryan MacRobert, Winemaker
Laventura, La Nave 2018 – R 215
'This wine has a medium ruby colour dominated by primary fruit aromas of strawberry, cherries and black berries. The palate is light and textured with a soft and balanced tannin. Good acidity, body and length.' – Bryan MacRobert, Winemaker
