The palate shows excellent fruit density, bright acidity and powdery tannins before a finish that is long and dry to the point of saline. | Producer information | Intellego Wines are terroir driven from the Swartland Appellation. The Swartland experiences a warm, dry climate which is favourable to grape varietals such as Chenin Blanc, Syrah, Cinsaut and Mourvedre. By using small pockets of land on different sites, Intellego is able to produce wines with different personalities and characters. Intellego’s philosophy is to use minimal intervention and a hands-on approach during the winemaking process. They also follow organic practices. |
