'The NV Brut Rosé Grand Cru is a gorgeous Pinot-based Rosé. Intensely floral and mineral, with terrific cut, the Rosé Grand Cru has so much to offer. I very much like the transparency and sense of energy here. The blend of 65% Pinot and 35% Chardonnay yields a Rosé of real class and personality. | Producer information | The Godmés have been vignerons in Verzenay since the 19th century. Hugues joined the family domaine, Godmé Père et Fils, in 1976. Due to viticultural differences, he separated from his sister and started domaine Hugues Godmé in 2015. His farms his 40 parcels over 11 ha biodynamically. These are spread over 4 communes: Pinot Noir from the two grand crus of Verzenay and Verzy; and from two premier cru sites Villers-Marmery (Chardonnay) and Villedommange (Meunier). |
