Emilio Lustau, Dry Amontillado Los Arcos 375ml NVSpain, Jerez
'Walnut, halva, singed almond and green tea notes give this an intriguing profile, flirting with an off-dry character. Stays dry through the bitter orange-edged finish. Drink now.' – James Molesworth, Wine Spectator (Aug 2016), 90/100
'Alluring fig, coffee and fine chocolate aromas with a deliciously rich, unctuous palate underpinned by a savoury, nutty, saline finish.' – Decanter World Wine Awards (Jun 2018), 90/100
'The dry, medium amber-hued non-vintage Dry Amontillado Los Arcos offers good body as well as a heady personality.' – Robert Parker, Wine Advocate (Jun 2005), 90/100
'Light golden brown. Stunningly inviting aroma of caramelised quince. A matching flavour on the palate with a sour-orange honeyed quality in a bone-dry wine. Incredible freshness on the finish and still just a remnant of yeast on the nose, in the empty glass.' – Julia Harding MW, JancisRobinson.com (Apr 2016), 17/20
'This dry Amontillado acquires a genuine, rich and nutty flavor through years of aging. Amber in colour, with hazelnut aromas on the nose. Light, soft and round on the palate, with a long aftertaste.' – Winemaker

About Emilio Lustau:
Emilio Lustau was created in 1896 by José Ruiz-Berdejo who was an almacenista in Jerez. Today, the historic producer is considered the global standard-bearer for top quality Sherry. Lustau was named Best Spanish Producer at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in London, while the oenologist Manuel Lozano, who sadly passed away in 2016, was awarded the Best Fortified Winemaker title seven years in a row. Lustau’s philosophy has remained the same since its inception in 1896: the pursuit of the highest quality in order to offer the widest and finest range of Sherry.
