| Producer information | Elgin Ridge, owned by Brian and Marion Smith, is a certified organic and biodynamic farm located in the Elgin valley. It is currently the only certified organic wine producer in Elgin, and one of just two certified biodynamic wine producers in South Africa. The wine estate sits at 282 metres above sea level and experiences cool climate conditions which are ideal for the vineyards and wine production. The cool breezes also ensure the grapes produce balanced wines with good fruit, fine acidity and minerality. |
