‘The 2016 du Courlat offers attractive, nicely defined red currant and cranberry fruit, and a subtle floral element emerges with time. The palate is well balanced with gritty tannin and firm backbone for a Lussac Saint-Émilion, but tight at the moment, offering dark berry fruit laced with black tea and allspice toward the finish.
