‘Elevation 393 comes from a single parcel at the top of the Blaauwklippen Road and is a medley of Cabernet Sauvignon with 27% each of Merlot and Syrah. | Producer information | De Trafford winery is situated at a height of 380 metres between the Stellenbosch and Helderberg mountains, on a farm called Mont Fleur. Only 18 years after its purchase in 1976, could the vineyards be planted due to quota restrictions. The property is owned and run by the Trafford family with David Trafford as winemaker, and they follow a 'mindful' approach to winemaking. |
