‘Elpidios is an attractive, seamlessly judged cuvée of mostly Grenache with 62% Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan and Pinotage, creating a Cape-meets-the-Mediterranean feel. Fermented with 50% whole bunches, it has enticing Turkish Delight and potpourri aromas, goji berry and tobacco leaf flavours and savoury, sinewy tannins. 2023-28’ – Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2022, 92/100
