| Producer information | Nestled in the corner of the majestic Du Toitskloof Pass, the Brookdale Estate vineyards are exposed to strong winds that reduce the crop but offer much-needed cooling in Paarl’s warm climate. It’s the perfect recipe for producing wines of real character. Brookdale extends over 80 hectares with 27 planted to vine and the remainder left to revert to its natural habitat. The historic estate has been lovingly restored by the Rudd family, with the Manor House rebuilt and the vineyards rejuvenated and replanted. Bird and animal life are rich and abundant. Every season brings different moods, different hues and different lives. |
