2021 was a fantastic vintage for Syrah in Stellenbosch. The Boschkloof Syrah 2021 from Syrah lover of note, Reenen Borman, captures the vintage’s trademark purity and incredible depth of fruit. His cult Sons of Sugarland is as scarce as hens’ teeth, while the benchmark Boschkloof Epilogue is consistently one of SA’s most profound examples.
Reenen’s 2021 Boschkloof Syrah is fresh and perfumed and with spice, blood orange and juicy depth. Simply delicious, it ticks all the boxes and offers insane value for a wine of this stature and quality.
