‘39% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 18% Syrah – eventually intended to be a representation of the property but this vintage includes bought-in fruit as Borman waits for new, virus-free vineyards to come online. Red and black berries, rose, a quite pronounced fresh herbs character and liquorice. On the nose the aromas are blueberry, mixed herbs, bruised plum and some lovely cigar box flavours. The wine is highly concentrated with a big, but elegant mid-palate and a long finish.
