Domaine de Chevalier produces some of the finest wines in Pessac-Léognan and the Graves. The reds are continually among the finest in the appellation, while the whites are often the best in all of Bordeaux. Château Laroque's star continues to rise in Saint-Émilion, with the masterful David Suire at the helm. While still up-and-coming, the wines offer terrific value. Château Phélan Ségur represents some of the best value in Saint-Estèphe with wines of great purity and clarity, yet with the structure you get from the soils on the far northern side of the Left Bank. A stone’s throw from giants Calon Ségur and Montrose, Phélan Ségur is a property to take note of.
