About Terre Nere:
The estate is located on the northern slopes of the Mt. Etna volcano, with vineyards between the village of Solicchiata and the town of Randazzo. The area is historically recognised as the finest in the appellation for fine red wines. The property consists of over 30 hectares, divided into 10 parcels in four crus, with a total vineyard surface of 25 hectares. Except for 6 hectares that were planted more recently, the rest of the estate’s vines are between 50 and 100 years old.

Tasting note:
'A perfumed, light- to medium-bodied red, with crushed raspberry, mineral and spice flavors. Light tannins show on the supple finish. Elegant and very drinkable. Drink now through 2021.' – Wine Spectator , 90/100
